This is a collection of 25 certified watches that were flown in the cockpit of a Fighting Falcon F16A from the Belgian airforce. The Pilot who flew the aircraft is our Belgian Demo Pilot “Vador” (2018-2021).
Gavox will give 10% of the benefit of these watches to a charity organization ( Cap48)
Every single watch will be accompanied by a Certificate signed by both the Pilot and Michael Happé (gavox owner and creator )

Gavox Curtiss P-40 | A Pilot Watch That Wins the War

From our higher collection

An icon of war - the Curtiss P-40 aircraft with its renowned shark face at the nose - meets an icon of time.

As a homage to the American Volunteer Group and especially my grandfather, who joined the legendary Flying Tigers in 1941, fighting on behalf of China against the Axis powers, this watch came to inception.

Inspired by Avionics instruments, the Curtiss P-40 is the quintessential pilot watch.

With white markers and hands, the dial evokes the military feel, while still retaining robustness and readability – in any terrain, land, or sky.

Wearing the Curtiss P-40, you are in the cockpit. You are in control.

The Gavox Curtiss P-40 was created in homage to the American Volunteer Group (AVG) and especially my Grandfather who joined the Flying Tigers in China in 1939.

Inspired by early military watches, the Curtiss P-40 features a multifunction calibre designed and built by Seiko Instruments, the second biggest watch manufacturer in the world. The Curtiss P-40 uses a precision Quartz Oscillator calibrated at 32,768 Hz. Forged in 316L stainless steel, the case with brushed surface finishing is water-resistant to 5 bar.
