Une icône de la guerre – l'avion Curtiss P-40 avec sa célèbre face de requin au nez – rencontre une icône du temps.

En hommage au Groupe des volontaires américains et surtout à mon grand-père, qui a rejoint les légendaires Flying Tigers en 1939, luttant au nom de la Chine contre les puissances de l'Axe, cette montre est arrivée à la création.

Inspiré par les instruments Avionics, le Curtiss P-40 est la montre pilote quintessence.

Avec des marqueurs blancs et des mains, le cadran évoque la sensation militaire, tout en conservant robustesse et lisibilité – dans n'importe quel terrain, terre ou ciel.

En portant le Curtiss P-40, vous êtes dans le cockpit. Vous avez le contrôle.

The Gavox Curtiss P-40 watch was created in homage to the American Volunteer Group (AVG) and especially my Grandfather who joined the Flying Tigers in China in 1939.

Inspired by early military watches, the Curtiss P-40 features a multifunction calibre designed and built by Seiko Instruments, the second biggest watch manufacturer in the world. The Curtiss P-40 uses a precision Quartz Oscillator calibrated at 32,768 Hz. Forged in 316L stainless steel, the case with PVD Matte surface finishing is water-resistant to 5 bar.
